Careline
Careline is an emergency service for elderly or other vulnerable people. A special phone, plus a radio pendant that they can carry around their home, supplies them with a vital telephone link at the touch of a button. The service is staffed by a specially trained team backed up by the most modern technology. It is available to owner occupiers as well as council, housing association and private tenants.
The Horwich Town Council has made funds available for the provision of the Careline service to residents of Horwich who would not otherwise be eligible for financial assistance from other sources, by meeting the cost of installing a BT line or adapting the existing BT point to a modern socket type.

Horwich Council Meetings
Meetings of the Horwich Town Council are held in the council Chamber, Public Hall, Lee Lane, Horwich on the second Monday of the month (except in July) and usually on the Thursday of the week following it.
