There are frequent concerts of all types of music, organised by clubs and societies in Horwich. The musical production from Horwich RMI Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society is now held in the Albert Hall, Bolton in May.

Many of the local schools also hold concerts and plays. Horwich Prize Medal Morris Men has a day for St. George on the nearest Saturday to April 23rd, when they and visiting teams dance round the pubs in Horwich. A two day Carnival is held in the summer with a parade and entertainment.
