At the Annual Meeting of the Parish held in the Council Chamber last Thursday evening the Town Mayor Councillor David Grant welcomed representatives from various local voluntary and community groups who have received funding from Horwich Town Council over the last 12 months and who were presented with certificates of appreciation from the Council.
Horwich is fortunate to have so many thriving groups and the Council is pleased to be able to support them through funds set aside in our grant schemes.
The next round of grant funding will be allocated in June, closing date for applications is 31 May. Applications forms are available from Horwich Community Centre, by emailing townclerk@horwich.gov.uk or can be downloaded on the website
